Попробую написать по-русски и in English созвучно - не слово в слово, как пойдёт. Try to write about my godfarther in both Ru and Eng - to share it once here. He passed away on 28th May and I got the sms from Moscow that the funeral was already over - in the evening of 30th May. I had to explain it also to the family and to the guests we had - most of my tears I had in August 2013, when he was already not able because of age and age-related weaknesses - even to recognise me & who I am... Still it was not easy to remain always cheerful these days.

Вот таким я хочу крёстного запомнить. Хотя в момент этой именно фото - я ещё и вообще не планировалась. Но этот жест и этот именно взгляд - был потом повторяем не раз, особенно в поддержку моей маме. Вроде б как и в поддержку и в назидание )) Долго чесала репу про наши разницы всех в годах - решила что это 10962-й год. В Латвии у Яниса. С Никитой - и дядя Артур это мой крёстный, а мама - крёстная мама Никиты. Любимый мамин крестник очень и очень по-человечески удался (цалу если прочтёшь).
This is how I want to remember my Godfarther. I was not born then when the photo was taken, and not even planned - but this very mood/gesture of "yes we make it + keep strong+stop being naughty" - it was often repeated and I do remember it well... After some strange calculations - I think it is 1962. In Latvia. With Nikita.
